WENDY NICHOLAS

My background is primarily within a farming community. I studied Fine Art at Curtin University then a Post Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Teaching, completing study in July of 2018. I have been teaching in a kindergarten role since then, except for an 8-month secondment as Assistant Director in a large daycare centre. I have 10 years’ experience in early childhood education, and an additional 6 years’ experience with the education department.

I have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. At my home there is myself, a dog, a cat and a budgie.

My goal is to provide children with top quality individualised care. To provide parents with peace of mind and a feeling of security as they leave their children for the day. I believe children learn best through guided play and believe all children should learn independence and self-management to support them throughout their lives.
