CHRISTINE ADAMS

Hi, I’m Chris. I have been running my Family Daycare business in Orelia for the past 20 yrs. After having a background in long daycare, Family Daycare was wonderful option for me to begin a family of my own and work from home. Well….20 yrs later my children are grown and I’m still loving my job very much. I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and continue to better my knowledge of early childhood education with ongoing workshops and training.

I feel that every child’s needs are important, and these needs will be met to the best of my ability. I will ensure that children are safe and comfortable whilst in my care as well as building trusting relationships with families. I feel good communication is the key to a great working relationship.

My environment is engaging and positive so children can learn and grow through play based experiences. I believe that children learn from an environment that is rich in learning both indoors and outdoors and I strive to embed nature based play experiences in my service.

I aim to ensure that my day care will facilitate stability, boundaries and consistency that will aid in positive self esteem and forming meaningful relationships with others.

My service is open Monday to Thursday between 7am and 4pm.
